Manufactured in 1911. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights on the jacketed barrel with standard markings, and wedges of floral scroll at the breech. The receiver features approximately 1/4 coverage in fine scroll engraving. The bolt is marked "35 REM". The upper tang is fitted with a Lyman adjustable peep sight. Checkered forearm and buttstock with a checkered hard rubber Remington buttplate.

Fine. 70% faded original blue finish remains with areas of moderate high point and edge wear, handling marks overall, and areas of a smooth gray patina. The refinished stock and forearm have well defined, slightly worn checkering, scattered small dings throughout, and a slightly ill fitting buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
