Introduced in 1981. Ramped beaded blade front and flip up rear notch sights on the quarter rib, standard FN barrel markings, and Belgian proofs, flourishes of gold wire inlaid scroll engraving on the front sight ramp and barrel at the breech, and similar engraving on the forearm fittings. Fully engraved receiver with gold inlaid borders and brilliant gold inlaid big game scenes of a cape buffalo on the right and bull elephant on the left. The underside is signed "ENGRAVED BY SAM WELCH/KODIAK, ALASKA" over a map of Africa. Trigger guard is inscribed with the initials "D/K/C" in gold wire inlay. Single selective trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Checkered forearm and stock with a Browning plastic buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull. With Browning takedown case.

Very fine as embellished by Master Engraver Sam Welch. With 99% blue finish, sharp engraving, complete inlays and a few light handling marks. The wood is very fine with some small bruises in the checkering and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
