Game bird scene engraved receiver with partridge on the right and pheasants on the left surrounded by flourishes of fine, deep scroll. The left side is signed "M.L." between the hinge and bird scene. With dual triggers and a tang mounted safety switch. Checkered forearm and buttstock with a serrated Merkel buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull. With original box.

Excellent overall with 99% original finish, light handling marks, and sharp checkering on the excellent wood. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good plus.
