Features a single steel bead sight on the concave solid rib barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers and cylinder chokes. The barrels have light vine engraving near the breech, and standard French commercial proofmarks on the flats. The French gray receiver features the standard Darne sliding breech mechanism and light bouquet and scroll engraving. Fitted with dual triggers and a left side mounted safety toggle. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm ad straight grip stock with a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .552/.552 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .044/.044 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Very good with 85% plus original finish, light small handling marks, and evidence of some light flaking on the rib. The receiver and action have light spotting and a slight yellowed, aged patina with clear engraving and small handling marks. The wood is very good with crisp checkering, small handling marks, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
