Description:

Only about 4,000 of these revolvers were made in all variations. The Model 1902 is easily recognized from the earlier revolvers by the removable side plates on both sides of the frame. Marked "WEBLEY-FOSBERY" on the left side of the top strap and "P. WEBLEY & SON. LONDON & BIRMINGHAM" on top of the barrel rib. Patridge blade front sight and notch rear sight. The flying bullet trademark appears on the left side of the frame just in front of ".455 CORDITE". "A.C. Vicary" is inscribed on the back strap. Birmingham proofs on several parts and between the chambers on the unfluted "zigzag" cylinder. The sides of the hammer are checkered as well as the spur. The safety lever on the left side of the frame pulls the sliding mechanism to the rear when it is raised, exposing "SAFE" in raised letters on the grip. Full blue finish, with checkered hard rubber grips and a lanyard ring on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Excellent as arsenal refurbished, with 98% of the blue finish, showing a few light dings and handling marks and some light spotting. The grips are excellent, with the exception of a small chip on upper right forward grip with pressure dents elsewhere. Mechanically needs work as the hammer does not cock when the action is cycled.
