Description:

Inland barrel dated "9-44", fixed blade front and stamped adjustable rear sights, type III barrel band with bayonet lug, low wood stock with four rivet handguard, "M" marked magazine catch, and toggle safety. The left side of the stock is stamped "AAE/019", and the right is stamped "21". Folding steel wire stock with correct leather cheekpiece, oiler bottle, and correct cast checkered buttplate. With "U.S." marked Carter Bros. Inc. canvas jump sleeve dated "1944" and tan canvas sling. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished. 80% dark parkerized finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear, scattered nicks and dings, and cycling marks. The wood is fine with dings and dents overall. Mechanically excellent. Canvas jump sleeve is very fine.
