One of the more widely issued trench shotguns of World War II, the Stevens Model 520-30 features a single brass bead sight on the anodized bayonet adaptor, with a blue six-hole heat shield, standard commercial barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and cylinder choke. The right side of the barrel is correctly stamped with a small "P/flaming bomb" inspection mark, as is the left side of the receiver extension. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the correct model marking, and "U.S." above the trigger area. Smooth slide handle and buttstock with a serrated plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine. 70% original dull blue finish remains with areas of a mottled gray/brown patina on the magazine tube, surface scratches, mild edge wear, handling marks throughout, and sharp markings. The sanded wood is good with an added coat of varnish, small dings throughout, and some chipping around the butt edge. Mechanically excellent.
