With flourishes of tight decorative scroll engraving on the lock plates, hammers, frame and tangs. Checkered forearm with ebony tip insert and stock with a checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .730/.733 inch; minimum wall thickness .038/.042 inch; drop at comb 2 inches; drop at heel 3 1/4 inches; 14 1/4 inch length of pull.

Fine. 40% of the thinning brown finish remains with good visible Damascus patterns, sharp barrel markings, light spotting, and some small nicks and dings. The receiver and side plates have 50% original case colors, most of which on the side plates, with the balance a mostly mottled gray/brown patina with sharp markings and engraving, replaced break lever screw, and slight marring on the other screw heads. The wood is very good with well defined checkering, small dings and numerous scratches throughout, and a chipped buttplate toe. Mechanically excellent.
