The Model 1913 was the result of years of development in conjunction with the British government and was finally adopted as the Model 1913 MK 1N for Royal Navy issue. The left side of the slide has the Webley & Scott winged bullet logo and Mark I N legend which is dated "1916." British proofs appear on various parts. The rear sight is adjustable for windage. The pistol falls into a British government contract for 967 units in the serial number range 7,034-8,000 dated from October 1916 to August 1917.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. The pistol retains strong traces of original blue finish in and round the protected areas with the balance a smooth brown patina overall. The grips are fine showing some blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
