Model 1905 pistols manufactured between 1907 and 1908 show noticeably different characteristics from the early pistols that would become standard on the Model 1908, and are therefore referred to as Model 1905/1908 transitions. This pistol was manufactured in November 1908 as part of a serial number range (15530-15999) of 470 units. The hooked trigger guard and visible trigger bar are standard Model 1905 features. The groove rear sight, short extractor (1 inch), safety on the trigger bar, thin hammer (.28 inches) and button magazine catch are standard Model 1908 features. It has the early tempered blue finish, the three-line legend followed by the "W&S" winged bullet logo on the left side of the slide and British proofs.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish showing slight thinning on the grip straps and some light edge wear. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
