Manufactured in India during World War II, this Enfield is outfitted with a reinforcing bolt ahead of the receiver and two lengths of heavy gauge copper wire around the forearm, both intended to help the rifle withstand the strain of repeated grenade launches. Other features are standard, with a "GRI" mark over the date on the socket and a faint import mark on the left side of the receiver. The stock is marked "2" in white paint on the left side. The launcher is the clamp-on style, with post-WWII "RFI" Ishapore markings and "291" on the claw base and "876" on the main body.

Good, with 70% of the arsenal refurbished black enamel finish, showing some wear and flaking overall. The launcher retains about half its original blue, with scattered brown spotting and areas of gray patina. The stock is fair, with a number of scuffs and dents overall, with some cracks around the rear forearm wrap, an old repair on the handguard just ahead of the chamber, and the start of a well aged patina on the wraps. The extractor spring is absent, otherwise mechanically very good.
