Description:

Manufactured using a combination of original ST61 components and an inert aluminum alloy receiver. A derivative of the MG-15 aircraft machine gun, the ST61 is fitted with a large water cooling jacket that doubles as the mounting points for the bipod and sights. The exact history of the ST61 is unclear; it is suspected that they were put together from left-over Luftwaffe contract parts when the MG15 was nearing the end of its service life. Included with the unit is a folding bipod and one 1938 BSW marked MG13 magazine. Note: Does not constitute a complete parts kit.

Rating Definition:

Good with over half the finish on the vintage components and areas of brown patina on the receiver. The carry handle shows some scuffs and dents, and the leather shows mild wear and tear.
