Description:

1) Oberstleutant (Lieutenant Colonel) tunic, with a set of silver bullion on yellow waffenfarbe shoulder boards and collar tabs. Decorations include a silver bullion luftwaffe eagle, 2nd Class Iron Cross button ribbon, transport/glider clasp, 1st Class Iron Cross medal, Pilot/Observer Badge and a silver bullion "triple eagle" patch. A faded "Bopp-Leon" (Lille, Occupied France) name tag is present in the inside pocket with an illegible owner's signature. 2) Hauptmann (Captain) private purchase tunic, with silver bullion/brass pip on yellow waffenfarbe shoulder boards and collar tab. Decorations include an early pattern "downturned" eagle, silver agilette cord, Air-to-Ground Support Squadron clasp, 4-piece ribbon bar, 1st Class Iron Cross, Pilot-Observer Badge, and a cuff title for Geschwader Hindenberg, which was active from the Invasion of Poland onward, including the Invasion of France, Battle of Britain, and Italy, performing air support among other tasks.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, with mild wear and staining. The fittings may be later additions. 2) Good overall, with stains and wear, showing some vintage repairs.
