Description:

Both tunics are of horsehair constructions in differing shades of feldgrau with partial cloth liners, plain collar litzen, and painted alloy buttons. Both have stitched holes for belt support hardware, but said hardware is absent. 1) Tunic, absent of shoulder boards or sleeve insignia, with a zig-zag stitched eagle on the breast. The lining is ink stamped "5521" near the tail and below the button holes, "0/0215/0098" on the left inside pocket, and has a set of semi-legible size markings over "Stn.44" between the buttons. 2) Gebirgsjaeger Soldat (private) uniform, with green waffenfarbe trimmed shoulder boards, a hand stitched breast eagle and the distinctive "edelweiss" patch on the right arm.

Rating Definition:

Both are fair, with some small moth holes and wear and tear appropriate to age and use.
