Manufactured in 1934 during Germany's secret re-armament program. Inverted "V" blade front and notch sights on the rear toggle with the "S/42" production code on the front, "G" date code on the chamber, early droop wing eagle proofs and acceptance marks on the right side of the barrel extension, military serial number placement with matching visible full and partial numbers, unmarked checkered grips, and a mismatched blue magazine with aluminum base. With a Robert Larsen of Berlin 1929 dated police style leather holster numbered "1640" on back and matching serialized takedown tool.

Very fine with 85% original blue finish, some areas of high point and edge wear, handling marks mostly on the grip straps, and small surface scratches. 80% original straw colors remain on the small parts. Grips are also very fine with some small dings in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very good with small scuffs and scratches, and tight stitching.
