Manufactured post-1998. This revolver has standard factory markings, 75% plus coverage scroll engraving, engraving even extending to the front sigh and inside edge of the loading gate, "JWR" signed below the cylinder pin, and an burnished silver finish. Consignor notes indicate the engraving is by James Russell of Texas. He engraved around 100 SAAs for Colt in 1992-1996 and then worked for Beretta. He has engraved firearms for important politicians including two shotguns owned by former President George H.W. Bush. The original shipping sleeve and box are included.
