Introduced in 1985. Only one of five hundred produced. With a single white bead sight on the matte solid rib. Choked modified/improved cylinder with 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Standard barrel markings and 1 1/4 inch wedges of light scroll engraving at the breech. The receiver features highly detailed floral scroll engraving with scenes of two quail on the right side and a hunting dog and quail on the left. The underside has a gold inlaid quail head and is marked "ONE OF 500/GOLDEN QUAIL" with additional floral scroll engravings. Equipped with a gold washed single trigger, engraved thumb safety/selector switch and break lever. Mounted on a fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forearm and English style straight grip stock with a Winchester factory solid recoil pad. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Complete with a Winchester Golden Quail takedown hardcase, two keys, and manual.

Excellent with 97% of the original blue and coin finish with light handling marks. The engraving and gold inlay are crisp and clear. The wood is excellent with crisp checkering. The case is very good with minor scuff marks on the leather ends and corner wear. Mechanically excellent.
