Manufactured in 1927. Lyman bead front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight on a barrel with standard Winchester markings. The Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The serial number is marked on the underside of the frame, and the upper tang has the three-line trade mark information. Mounted on a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a serrated steel buttplate.

Fine with 50% plus of the original blue finish with the bottom of the barrel near the takedown lever showing a smooth silver patina and minor brown speckling along the barrel. The receiver and the takedown collar are fading to a smooth brown patina with minor wear on the receiver edges. The wood is also fine with minor scattered scratches and dings. The left side of the stock near the toe has a few deep scratches. Mechanically excellent.
