Manufactured in 1940. Standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, hooded ramp front and elevation adjustable rear sights and checkered forearm and buttstock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Fine. 70% original blue finish remains with areas of edge wear, surface scratches, handling marks throughout, and a mottled gray patina on the underside of the receiver. The replacement wood is very fine with crisp checkering and some scattered small indentations mostly on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
