The revolver was originally manufactured in 1900 with the standard markings and features and has since been masterfully engraved with nearly full coverage American Rococo style engraving, nickel plated, and fitted with a fine pair of smooth grips with silver Colt medallions. A certificate of engraving and appraisal confirms the revolver was engraved by Jeffery W. Flannery of Kentucky in 2004. It comes in a modern custom case with lettering highlighting the revolver's features and engraving.

Very fine as professionally engraved and refinished with only light handling and storage marks and faint pitting visible under the finish.
