Manufactured in 1899. This rifle features special order takedown configuration, a half octagon barrel and a checkered fancy pistol grip stock. The barrel is fitted with a dovetailed German silver blade front and adjustable rear buckhorn rear sights. Blue barrel, magazine tube and trigger, and casehardened remaining parts. The stock is fitted with an iron crescent buttplate.

Fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain 75% original blue finish with some muzzle and high point wear, and some scattered minor thinning. 25% of the original bright case colors remain on the receiver and hammer, with most of the faded original case colors remaining on the lever. The buttplate has a smooth silver/gray patina. The wood is fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
