Description:

Manufactured in 1966 and shipped in May of that year. It has standard S&W markings, importer marking on the butt and right grip panel numbered to gun. Has a neat serial number S261000. Comes with the S&W Model 58 box numbered to a different gun and bore rod with brush. Provenance: Frank Staig collection.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original blue finish showing a light cylinder drag line and some very scattered minor handling marks. Hammer and trigger retain 99% plus original case colors. The grips are also excellent with limited minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with a few of tears.
