Description:

The revolver was manufactured in 1861 for the commercial market, but many of these "civilian" revolvers would have been used during the war as privately purchased sidearms. It has standard markings and features, including matching serial numbers other than the replaced wedge..

Rating Definition:

Good as cleaned with mostly gray patina and some mild pitting, nicks, scratches, and buff marks on the iron. The grip frame has original silver on the top of the back strap and around the trigger guard, a name buffed off the butt, and minor scrapes and marks. The grip has a small crack on the left near the top, small dings and scratches, minor chipping/rounding of the corners, and strong oil finish. Mechanically fine.
