This very large non-firing replica features fine American style scroll engraving on the barrel, cylinder, and frame with punch dot backgrounds and checkerboard patterns. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line Hartford address. The action functions, and the cylinder cycles in just the same manner as a normal sized Single Action Army revolver, there are even four distinct clicks as the hammer is being drawn back. This impressive scaled up model weighs 28 pounds and measures 27 1/2 inches long by 12 inches high from the heel to spur of the hammer. Very fine as custom made. 95% original blue and case colored finishes remain with some areas of light oxidation, absent front sight blade, slightly rough machining marks and welds, sharp engraving, and visible gaps around some parts. Mechanically very good. What a display piece!
