Manufactured in 1893 with the original "black powder" Single Action Army frame design, standard blade and groove sights and crescent ejector rod head. The barrel has the two-line Hartford address on top and "45 COLT" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the two-line, three-patent dates marking followed by a circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers are stamped on the frame, trigger guard, butt and both grip panels. The checkered grips feature an embossed Rampant Colt at the tops.

Very fine. The revolver retains 60% bright original high polish blue finish (mostly on the barrel and ejector rod housing) with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina. The hammer and frame retain 40% original case colors. There are limited patches of minor pitting. The grips are excellent with a few very minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. An overall attractive blue/casehardened finished Black Powder Colt SAA revolver.
