Manufactured with fixed sights, the one-line Hartford address on top of the barrel, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" roll engraved on the left, and the circled Rampant Colt on the lower left side of the frame. Matching numbers on the frame and cylinder, along with matching assembly numbers on the loading gate and grip strap. Ejector rod head is absent from the rod. Enlarged back strap spur and lanyard ring on the butt.

Very fine, with 70% plus original blue finish, showing light spotting overall, a mixed gray and brown patina forming down the sides of the barrel and on top of the frame, and a dark plum patina on the grip straps. The grips are fair, with a chip on the right panel and a circular patch on the left panel with light pressure dents. Mechanically fine.
