Manufactured in 1882 with the standard markings and features including the distinctive etched "COLT D. A. 41" panel on the barrel.

Fine with 80% plus of the original nickel plating, strong niter blue on many of the small components, dark brown patina in some of the flaked spots on the barrel, lighter patina on the balance, minor spotting, and light scratches. Mechanically needs work: the cylinder spins when the trigger is pulled, but the hammer does not cock. It will function in single action. The grips are fine with moderate handling wear and attractive aged tones.
