Manufactured in 1900. German silver blade and elevation adjustable sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address/patent dates information. The top of the receiver is marked "MARLIN SAFETY," and the upper tang is marked "MODEL/1892."

Excellent. The rifle retains 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish with the balance thinning to a gray. 75% original case colors remain on the hammer, lever and buttplate. There is an area of deep pitting on the buttplate. The wood is also excellent showing some minor pressure dents and scratches and retaining nearly all of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
