ILION N.Y." address on top of the barrel, "44" on the bottom ahead of the forearm, matching serial numbers (barrel, forearm, and lower tang), a non-factory tang peep sight, and smooth stock and forearm.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus with trace of original blue finish and case colors mixed with brown and gray patina, some light spotting, mild edge wear, and light scratches. The wood is also very good and has some minor scratches and dings, a very faint hairline crack on the right flat of the buttstock, some scrapes on the left flat of the forearm, and mostly smooth oil finish. Mechanically excellent.
