Description:

Portuguese contract markings and features, including the Kingdom of Portugal "crown/G.P" cipher on the tail of the lock and "B.S.A & M. Co./1875" at the center of the lock. It also has "R3/A/54" markings on the buttplate tang.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall, with dark patina mixed with traces of faded original finish and some minor pitting on the iron, aged patina on the brass, a crack in the stock at the tail of the lock, and scattered marks and dings. Mechanically excellent.
