The India Pattern was the standard British infantry weapon from the tail end of the 18th century well into the 19th century. Some were used by local forces and indigenous groups long after they were phased out of the Royal Army. Standard markings and features. Includes a socket bayonet without locking ring.

Fair as reconverted to Flintlock configuration. The iron has dark patina and moderate pitting, and the brass has dark aged patina. The sling swivels are absent. The refinished stock has chipping, some hairline cracks, and three deep gashes on the left side at the butt. Mechanically fine.
