The barrel flats are marked "SLEEVED" along with standard English commercial proofs. Birmingham nitro proof with date code of 1985. Top lever signed "WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT EJECTOR." Receiver is engraved with light English scroll patterns with dual triggers, and a tang mounted automatic safety. Checkered splinter forearm and buttstock with a blank initial oval and serrated horn buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: right barrel proved at .661, measuring .661 minimum wall thickness .033; left barrel proved at .661, measuring .661, minimum wall thickness .030. drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 inches. Fine as professionally restored with 99% of the blue finish on the barrels, re-cut rib markings, and some light pitting visible on the rib near the breech. The receiver has an overall blue/gray and brown appearance with some edge wear, clear markings, and visible old cold blue on the trigger guard. The wood is fine with sharp re-cut checkering, some light dings, and handling marks. The barrels as mentioned above have been professionally sleeved. Mechanically sound.
