Ramped beaded blade front with flip up hood and fixed three-leaf (one standing, two folding) rear notch sights with gold inlaid sight lines on a raised quarter rib. The top of the barrel is inscribed "J. Rigby & Co. London. England" in fine script, and there are British commercial proofs on the right side of the chamber. The receiver is engraved with fine leafy scroll, and inscribed "CAL 270" in a banner on top of the ring, and fitted with scope mounts. The floor and trigger plate are also finely engraved with "MADE/IN/ENGLAND" inscribed forward of the hinge, and a gold inlaid Rigby logo in the center of the floor plate. The serial number is inscribed on the trigger guard. With a knurled round knob bolt handle, nitre blue extractor, and Model 70 style safety. The stock is fancy figured European walnut with multi-point checkering, single reinforcing bolt, horn forend and grip caps, raised shadow-line cheekpiece and a solid rubber recoil pad.
