Raised ramp front blade sight and fixed rear sight. The breech end of the nitro "Spezial-Gewehrlautstahl" barrels has a 2 1/4 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving. The coin finished treble-grip side clipped action features floral scroll designs as well as a very finely detailed chiseled forest scene on each side with three gold inlaid deer on the left side and a gold inlaid hound chasing two gold inlaid boars on the right side. The underside of the receiver has the SUHL logo. The engraving pattern extends to the trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware. The matching serial number is marked on the water table, left side of the barrel lug and the inside of the forearm hardware. The underside of the right barrel is marked "8663". Blue barrels, with a sling swivel mounted on the underside, break lever and trigger guard, coin finished remaining metal surfaces, double triggers, tang mounted safety, cross bolt and mounted with a nicely figured multi-point walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a horn grip cap, cheek piece, serrated horn buttplate and sling swivel. Excellent with 99% plus original blue and coin finish remaining, showing a very small area of minor scratching on the right barrel muzzle and only a few minor handling marks on the forearm and sharp checkering. There is a chip missing from the toe of the buttstock. All of the gold inlay remains and the engraving is sharp. Mechanically excellent.
