Internally, the barrel feed ramp and slide ejector port have been opened up, a trigger actuated firing pin safety is installed, the cutout for the slide stop in enlarged and the mainspring plug is metal and plastic with a dual helical spring arrangement. Magazine and rear sight not included. According to the included factory letter, this pistol was an experimental prototype model retained by Colt.

Excellent, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
