Manufactured from 1917-42. It has standard markings including the patent date on the bottom of the left grip panel and the lack of a S&W monogram on the frame, adjustable white outlined square notch rear sight, un-numbered grips, and matching serial numbers on the front grip strap, cylinder and barrel.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original blue finish showing the slightest loss at the sides of the muzzle, some minor scratches and a light cylinder drag line. Most of the original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very fine with some minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
