This is an excellent example of a Colt Officer's Model Flat Top Target revolver manufactured in 1937. The left side of barrel is marked "OFFICERS MODEL 38/HEAVY BARREL", both lines flanked with Maltese crosses, with the two line address/patent dates marked on the top. Flat top frame, Rampant Colt on the left side, elevation adjustable front and windage adjustable rear sights, and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with the original maroon hinged lid box numbered to the gun.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original blue finish with some slight muzzle wear, thinning on the left side of the barrel and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The grips are also excellent with only light handling marks and very crisp checkering. Crisp markings. The action is excellent. The box is very fine with some corner wear and a few stains.
