Manufactured in 1913. Fixed sights, the two-line, two-block Colt patents and address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, the (serifed) model nomenclature on the right and "H" above the firing pin stop, with the slide unnumbered as proper for the era. The left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", with the "WGP" Penfield inspection stamp above the magazine catch and "H 2" near the disconnector. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, checkered wide hammer, round top rear sight, short grip safety, checkered slide catch and thumb safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard ring, checkered walnut grips with diamond flats, unmarked lanyard base two-tone magazine and a "P/H" marked blue barrel.

Very fine, with 85% plus bright original high polish factory blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, the start of a brown patina on the grip straps, and scattered handling marks and spotting. The grips are fine, with some light dings. Mechanically excellent.
