Manufactured in 1953/54. It has standard S&W markings, importer marking on the butt, double pinned front and adjustable square notch rear sights, matching assembly numbers on the yoke and crane and matching serial numbers on the ejector shroud, butt, cylinder and right grip panel. The factory gold box is numbered to a different gun. Provenance: Frank Staig collection.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% original blue finish showing slight wear at the muzzle and a cylinder drag line. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with a puncture mark on top of the lid and some very scattered minor wear.
