Description:

Manufactured in 1942. Blade front and "S" marked two-leaf rear sights, with an Inland "10-42" barrel, "UI" Type I barrel band, flat bolt, milled "INLAND" trigger guard, "GI" hammer, knurled button safety, and a serrated "W-I" magazine catch. Fitted with a high wood two-rivet stock, marked with a "crossed cannon" cartouche ahead of the "I" oiler cut, "IO" and "flaming bomb" inside the sling cut. With a tan canvas sling, "UI" marked magazine, and "IS" marked spare magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 75% plus correct original dark parkerized finish, thinning slightly on the barrel with some bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The stock is fine, with some dark spots and chips concentrated around the buttplate, along with some shallow scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
