Manufactured in 1941. Hooded blade front and folding ladder ("R" marked, no volley notch) rear sights, with a "RA/bomb/11-42" marked barrel, "R" marked bolt, front barrel band and magazine cutoff switch, and an "FJA" marked replacement straight wrist stock. Replacement 03-A3 stamped trigger guard, buttplate, swivel (rear) and barrel band.

Fine as assembled, with 85% of the original parkerization, showing a few areas of thin brown color, bright wear along the edges and some mild handling marks. The revarnished stock is fair, with a pin-stabilized crack in the top of the wrist, dark spots and dings. Mechanically excellent. Even with the apologies, one could source the correct parts and have a fine representative Remington 1903.

Very fine as arsenal refinished, with 95% of the parkerized finish, showing some light scratches and handling marks overall. The stock is very fine, with some scattered dings concentrated on the upper handguard and minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
