Description:

This revolver was shipped in January 1952. It has standard S&W markings, importer marking on the butt and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, barrel and cylinder. The factory .38-44 Heavy Duty gold box is un-numbered. Provenance: Frank Staig collection.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish showing a few scattered minor handling marks and a cylinder drag line. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent showing limited minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent with some very scattered minor wear.
