Dated 1940 on top of the chamber and marked "42" on the toggle, with "eagle/655" proofs on the extension and barrel, and "eagle/swastika" firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breechblock. Finish is full blue, including the small components, with a pair of checkered grips. Minus the post-war replacement magazine, external numbers are matching overall. The back strap is marked "N/4129" in the style of Lugers acquired by the Kriegsmarine and issued via North Sea depots.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the grip straps, bright wear on the edges and muzzle, and scattered light handling marks. The grips are also very fine, with some dings and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
