Dated "41" over the chamber, with "byf" code on the toggle. "Eagle/655" and "eagle/swastika" proofs on appropriate parts. Overall finish is full blue, with a set of checkered grips, "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings, and a blued magazine with an unmarked black plastic base. Included with the pistol is an extra blue/plastic magazine, unmarked blued steel takedown/loading tool and a black leather flap holster marked "P.08", "jhz/1942" and "WaA668" (Jean Weipert, Offenbach) on the back.

Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing bright wear on the high edges, the sides of the muzzle and on the side plate, along with some light handling marks. The grips are also excellent with some light dings and dark spots. The blade of the takedown tool has been polished and reshaped, and the holster is excellent with some light scuffs and stains. Mechanically excellent.
