Fixed sights, with "1940" over the chamber, the Mauser banner on the toggle link and the "eagle/swastika L" Police stamp on the extension. Excluding the magazine, the external parts are matching numbered. Finished in blue with straw colored small parts and niter blue pins and springs, a sear safety (no magazine safety cuts) and checkered grips. Included with the pistol are five extra magazines (assorted finish/base configurations), a 1946 dated capture certificate identifying the pistol by serial number (sans suffix) signed by an officer from the 308th Engineer Combat Battalion, a component of the 83rd Infantry Division, and a letter from Ralph Shattuck noting the pistol as being close in number to the identified serials for the Swedish Contract Lugers.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks, a small amount of spotting, and bright edge wear overall. The barrel shows a number of shallow dings, which still retain their blue. 70% original straw colors are present on the small parts, with some light dings on the grips. Mechanically excellent.
