Description:

Manufactured 1909-1928 and patterned after the "Papa Nambu" pistol, the Baby Nambu was the semi-official officer's pistol of the Imperial Japanese Military. Developed as a home-grown alternative to imported American and European pocket-sized handguns, the Baby Nambu was sold through the military officer's union system for private purchase. Fixed sights, with the "cannonball" logo on top of the chamber, the 3-symbol Nambu nomenclature and serial number on the right side of the frame, checkered hardwood grips, and straw finished small parts. Matching numbers are present on multiple components, including the magazine, bolt components and grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine as semi-professionally restored with 95% of the refinished blue finish, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. The grips are very fine, with a few mild dings. Mechanically excellent.
