A) Japanese Type 26 Double Action Revolver

Description:

Manufactured circa 1894-1923, with many seeing use in WWII. Fixed sights, with the stacked cannonball Koishikawa (Tokyo) Arsenal symbol on the right side over the model and serial number markings, checkered grips and a canvas lanyard. With a brown leather flap holster marked "O.L. COMER" on the ammunition pouch and inside the flap. Comer has not been identified.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 85% of the arsenal refurbished blue finish, with bright edge wear, areas of brown patina and mild handling marks. The grips are good, with some chips and dents. The holster is good, with mild scuffing and cracking. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured in May of 1930, with the "5.5" Showa date on the right side of the frame. Fixed sights, ribbed and knurled cocking knob, straw finished small parts and serrated grips. Numbers match on the frame, trigger, bolt and cocking knob. With an early pattern brown leather clamshell holster with solid leather retention strap, extra firing pin and a cleaning rod.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 75% of the blue finish, showing some spotting, handling marks and brown patina. Some light dents and scuffs are present on the grips. Some light scuffing and wear is present on the holster. The magazine is a tight fit and the magazine well safety has been disabled, otherwise mechanically good.
