Late WWII Walther manufactured K43 rifle that has been fitted with a non-matching WWII ZF4 sniper scope and mount. The left side of the receiver is marked "K43" followed by "ac/45" (stacked) followed by serial number "6708a". The right side receiver flat is correctly stamped with a "eagle/359" Waffenamt. The rifle has a late war rough cast receiver with a single bolt guide and the late rough cast bolt carrier with the reinforcing web on the front end with no hold open latch. It has a stamped action cover with the sliding manual dust cover. It is fitted with a late laminated stock and handguard version with a very faint "eagle/359" Waffenamt proof on the right side below the sling slot and a very faint smaller ones in the pistol grip area. The rifle is fitted with a late war, rough cast K43 sniper mount fitted with a blued ZF4 scope. The mount is numbered "5869" on the front end with a single "eagle/359" proof below the locking lever. The scope is marked "GW ZF4/64001/ddx". The rifle has a gray phosphated finish overall and comes with a K43 marked "aye" marked magazine with a single "WaA843" Waffenamt proof, with an original leather sling, cleaning rod and front sight hood.

Very fine with 90% plus of the original phosphate finish thinning and showing light wear overall mixed with some light brown patina on the edge and high spot spots. The stock and handguard are both in fine condition overall having been lightly sanded with a light oil finish applied. It has a nice light color with very faint Waffenamt proofs on the sides. The scope and mount are also in fine condition with the scope showing 85% plus of the blue finish overall with wear and thinning on the sides and ends with the optics some what occluded. The mount is in very fine condition with a nice clear serial number and proofmark having a dark blue/black type finish.
