Fixed sights, with the "1940" date over the chamber and the Mauser "banner" logo on the toggle. A set of "eagle/N" proofs are present on the extension and breechblock and the "eagle/swastika L" Police stamp on the right side of the extension. The barrel is "eagle/63" and "S/42" marked, with no serial number. Other numbers are matching, including the hardwood grips and the blue finished alloy base magazine (also numbered "1"). Finish is full blue, with the takedown safety installed on the extension, and checkered grips. Included with the pistol is an unmarked blued/alloy magazine, a blued steel "eagle/665" takedown tool and a brown leather Schambach & Company holster dated "1940".

Excellent with 95% plus Mauser factory blue finish, showing some mild spotting and hints of brown patina on the grip straps, bright edge wear, and mild handling marks. The interior of the left grip panel is hand-marked "RC/10-18-65", and both grips are good, with some dings and verdigris. The holster is fine, with some wear and tear on the interior, cracking of the closure strap and mild scuffs and stains on the exterior. Mechanically excellent.
