Manufactured in 1937. Dual bead sights with a Cutt's Compensator, Simmons vent rib, "Model 12-28 GA" barrel markings, "2 7/8" inch marked chamber, and "SKEET" marked choke. Removal of buttstock reveals the important "28" marking on the rear collar. The Winchester "WP" proof is visible on top of the barrel, but not on the receiver. The underside of the receiver is marked "SKEET" under the serial number. Diamond pattern checkered forearm and pistol grip buttstock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap, and checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull.

Fine as professionally refinished and compensator and Simmons marked rib added. 95% of the blue finish remains with some small areas of edge wear, some light surface scratches, and slightly light barrel and receiver markings. The wood is also fine with well defined, slightly bruised checkering and scattered dings and pressure marks mostly on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
